Brian Olson joined Vizrt to lead the sales team for US group stations following the acquisition of NewTek in 2019. With a deep understanding of IP workflows and software-driven production, gained during his tenure as head of NewTek product management, Olson helps broadcasters achieve new efficiencies and transform their businesses. Olson also brings a wealth of experience in broadcast graphics and virtual production from key roles at Ross Video, Miranda Technologies, and Pinnacle Systems.

Olson began his career at the ABC affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska, and later moved on to Editech, Omaha’s premier post-production facility. An accomplished editor, Olson was a founding partner of North Sea Films and is credited with 3 independent feature films, PBS specials, and national commercials.
