Bio
Jason Effinger is Executive Vice President and Chief Digital and Technology Officer of Gray Television Group Inc. He is responsible for all digital media and broadcast technology for 200+ channels and 100+ mobile websites and apps in over 55 markets across the United States. In this role, Jason leads Gray's innovation team in workflow infrastructure design and capital project management. He currently serves on the board of Syncbak, is Chairman Emeritus of the Nebraska Broadcasters Association, and founder of MomsEveryday.
His vision is to challenge conventional broadcast mentality and provide solutions to the issues facing our industry today. He is tasked with designing and implementing innovative strategies in a world where core broadcasting is on a collision course with digital.
With over 25 years of experience in the local broadcast industry, he has held almost every job imaginable including various jobs in Management, News, Production, Public Service and Digital. Just prior to his current roll, he was Regional Vice President of Gray's southern and western markets.
