Ronan is Aviwest’s co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for the development of Aviwest’s innovative technology.
Ronan has over 20 years experience in the broadcasting world and is an expert on MPEG-2/H.264/H.265 standards, as well as cellular bonding and IP streaming technologies. After spending many years working on broadcast encoders for Thomson Grass Valley, Envivio and Thales Broadcast & Multimedia, he co-founded AVIWEST to develop the Digital Mobile News Gathering technology and provide broadcasters an entire ecosystem using unmanaged IP networks.
