Lantz Croft is the news operations manager at WBRC in Birmingham, Alabama. He also serves as a regional news operations manager for Raycom Media. He has a portfolio of stations he works directly with to support training, implementation, and use of the many technologies deployed at our news stations.
Lantz interned at WBRC while attending Jacksonville State University. Since then, he has held several positions on the assignment desk and eventually assignments manager, assistant news director, and his current role as the news operations manager. He is a graduate of the 2010 Raycom News Leadership program. Lantz sits on the academic advisory boards at Samford University and Jacksonville State University, and is coordinator for WBRC’s college internship program. Lantz lives in Birmingham with his wife, Laura.
